Tools and AI Considerations Across Business Cases
I.
Recurring Tool Categories
Across all eight business cases, the same tool categories recur in different combinations:
- A.Spreadsheets and data profiling tools for assessing legacy data before a migration.
- B.Backlog and analytics tools for mobile app work.
- C.Content management and redirect-configuration tools for a website platform change.
- D.CRM platforms and validation checklists for a CRM change.
- E.API testing tools such as Postman for deep linking work.
- F.Integration or middleware platforms alongside calendar and scheduling APIs for system integration.
- G.Messaging and notification platforms for a rollout.
- H.Data warehouse or reporting tools for a dashboard effort.
- I.A learner does not need to master all of these tools at once.
- J.The goal at OFA 1 is to recognize which category of tool a given piece of work touches, and to know who on the team to ask when hands-on use of an unfamiliar tool is required.
II.
AI Assistance Pattern
A.
AI assistance follows the same pattern in every business case:
- 1.Useful for turning raw material - notes, a stakeholder quote, a jumble of facts - into an organized first draft
- 2.Useful for suggesting questions or checks the learner might not have thought of
- 3.In no case does an AI tool replace the OFA's own verification against the real system, the real stakeholder, or the real data.
- 4.A learner who catches themselves trusting an AI-generated answer without checking it against reality has found the single most important habit to correct before progressing further in this curriculum.
