Sample Performance Review Language
Examples of how a supervisor might describe OFA 1 performance in a formal review, by scenario.
Purpose and Use
A.
Why Sample Language Is Provided
The sample language below illustrates how a supervisor might describe an OFA 1's performance in a formal review, using the same stewardship vocabulary as this curriculum, so that day-to-day coaching language and formal review language stay consistent.
Sample Review Language by Scenario
A.
Scenario: Meeting Expectations
- 1."[Name] has built a reliable foundation in OFA terminology and process over this review period, consistently producing accurate meeting notes and requirements contributions that require minimal correction."
- 2."[Name] has demonstrated good judgment in seeking guidance on ambiguous items rather than guessing, and has begun to proactively flag discrepancies during test execution rather than only reporting what was explicitly asked."
- 3.Development area·continue building independent judgment on when a follow-up question is needed versus when existing information is sufficient.
B.
Scenario: Not Yet Meeting Expectations
"[Name] has made progress in [specific area], but has not yet consistently demonstrated [specific completion indicator from the relevant module]."
C.
"Specific examples from this period include [example]."
- 1."To support continued growth, [Name] and their mentor have agreed to [specific, concrete developmental action] over the next [timeframe], with progress to be reviewed on [date]."
- 2.This framing keeps feedback anchored to specific, observable behaviors from this curriculum's completion indicators, rather than to general impressions.
